About
Javier Herrera, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the founder of Mighty Minds ABA. Javier started the practice to help kids and families tap into their superpowers, like confidence, communication, and independence.
Javier worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for many years and fell in love with the progress children made and the lasting impact on their families, which led to becoming a BCBA. Javier has since worked as a lead BCBA, in operations management, and as a clinical director.
Javier does not believe in cookie-cutter goals or robotic therapy. Javier listens first, then builds meaningful plans that fit the child, and shows up for the big battles and the everyday wins as a partner to the whole family. Javier speaks Spanish.
