About

Kayla Victoria Obamwonyi, M.A., M.S., BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of KVO Behavioral Consulting. She has more than 12 years of experience supporting children and families across home, clinic, school, and community settings. Since entering the field in 2014, she has been passionate about helping families work through behavioral, developmental, and communication challenges with confidence and compassion.

Kayla holds master's degrees in both Applied Behavior Analysis and Speech-Language Pathology, which gives her a distinct perspective on supporting children and caregivers. She partners with families to create meaningful progress using evidence-based strategies that fit naturally into everyday routines. Her caregiver coaching follows the GROW model: goals identified together, routines as the foundation, observation and modeling, and weekly practice and feedback.

She is especially passionate about supporting caregivers who are going through periods of transition, seeking additional guidance, or waiting for ABA services to begin. Kayla serves families in Florida and Colorado, with North Carolina coming soon. She works in person in the Jacksonville area and through telehealth everywhere else. Her goal is to help caregivers feel supported and confident through growth, transitions, and the challenges of daily life.
