About
Brian Peña, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the co-founder and clinical director of Love Forward ABA. He believes every learner deserves patience, creativity, and care, and that every family deserves to feel confident and supported along the way. He is especially passionate about early intervention, family collaboration, and supporting Spanish-speaking and first-generation families as they begin ABA services.
Brian's path into ABA began in 2014, when he was looking for a career that connected his background in psychology with his passion for education. He quickly fell in love with discovering what motivates each learner and finding creative ways to teach based on their individual strengths and interests. He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology and his Master of Education, with an emphasis in Educational Technology, from California State University, Fullerton, and he completed his ABA coursework through UMass Global.
Today, much of his clinical focus is early intervention with children ages 2 to 8. He also enjoys working closely with caregivers and building systems that support consistent, compassionate, high-quality ABA care. Brian speaks Spanish. He co-founded Love Forward ABA with Amber Moore, M.S., BCBA, and the practice supports Colorado families through telehealth.
Outside of work, Brian is a Los Angeles native who grew up in Long Beach. He and his wife moved to California's Central Valley in 2021, where they enjoy mountain views with their Australian Shepherd, Ranger.
