About
Eric Shults, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with Mountainside Autism in Sugar Grove, North Carolina. Eric started in the ABA field as a Certified Behavior Analyst in Florida in 1994 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2002, working first with adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and partnering with state agencies across the country.
Eric always wanted to work with children and families. In 2006 that opportunity came in a clinic setting, and Eric has been working with families ever since, across clinics, homes, schools, hospitals, and vocational settings. Eric's specialty is working with children who are dually diagnosed and in need of behavior reduction, and teaching new skills as children learn and grow.
Eric is passionate about giving children opportunities to learn new skills and use them in the community, and works with compassion and respect to improve quality of life for the people served. At home, Eric enjoys time with family and pets, daily workouts, and reading.
