About
Robin McKnight is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs. Her work spans residential care, crisis intervention, counseling, ABA program development, and large-scale behavioral health leadership, and she holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Robin previously served as Director of Behavioral Health Services at Lufkin State Supported Living Center, where she led a team of 23 and oversaw care for more than 300 individuals. Today she provides behavioral consultation and counseling through Donna Almeida Counseling and her own practice, Choices Behavioral Health of East Texas. She is committed to respectful, data-informed, person-centered care for clients across the lifespan.
