About
Jacquelyn (Jackie) Heslep is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Colorado native, and a mother to two autistic children. She is also proud to be an autistic BCBA, which gives her a unique understanding of what it means to parent neurodiverse children and to live a neurodiverse life. Jackie is a trauma-assumed practitioner who grounds her work in ACT-based concepts alongside the principles of ABA, and she takes a child-centered approach so that treatment is socially valid for each child. Through Play ABA, her goal is not to fit neurodiverse children into society, but to celebrate their unique abilities, help them live meaningful lives, and support them in being their authentic selves.
