About
My path into Applied Behavior Analysis wasn’t a traditional one. Earlier in my career, I worked in business and banking, where I developed a strong foundation in systems, problem-solving, and organizational leadership. While that work was valuable, everything changed when I had the opportunity to work closely with a child who needed support. Seeing firsthand how the right guidance and environment could unlock communication, confidence, and independence completely shifted my perspective—and ultimately my career.
That experience inspired me to pursue a career in behavioral science and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). What began with one child grew into a deep commitment to helping many children and families access thoughtful, individualized support.
At the heart of my work is a belief that therapy should be child-led, assent-based, and grounded in safety and autonomy. Meaningful progress happens when children feel respected, understood, and engaged in the learning process. My approach prioritizes collaboration with the learner and their family, creating an environment where children feel secure enough to explore, communicate, and build new skills.
Through Ascent Pathways, I’ve built a clinician-first organization. That means clinical integrity, thoughtful treatment planning, and the wellbeing of the child always guide our decisions. The goal is not simply to deliver therapy hours, but to provide care that is individualized, compassionate, and truly effective for each learner.
